Original kreikkalainen Gyros

Original Greek Gyros has brought the authentic Greek Pita Gyros to the Joensuu Market Hall. We prepare all our dishes using high-quality, fresh ingredients, honoring tradition and following genuine Greek recipes. The meat in our gyros dishes is marinated and slowly roasted on a vertical rotisserie to achieve its authentic Greek flavor and deliciously crispy surface. You can choose your preferred filling for the gyros, such as tasty chicken or pork, complemented by fresh salad, authentic Greek tzatziki, feta cheese, and crispy French fries.

Behind the restaurant are entrepreneur Konstantinos Manikas from the island of Kefalonia and his wife Anne Maria, originally from Joensuu, who warmly serves all customers. The authentic Greek culinary experience is further ensured by the restaurant’s professional chef, Dimitri Mavridis from Thessaloniki, and his wife Virginia, who works alongside him as a great team.
